We need your help with refreshments for our Home for the Holidays program. It would be best to bring Hot Cocoa Bar supplies to Cornerstone no later than the morning of Sunday, December 8th so we can get that ready before people arrive that evening. The cookies can be brought that morning or no later than 4:45 so we can put them out to serve by 5 PM. Thank you for signing up!
Candlelight & Carols Christmas Eve Services
We will celebrate Christmas Eve with candlelight, carols, and communion. We will have services at 4 PM and 5:30 PM. Invite a friend, a neighbor, or a family member to this special family-friendly Christmas celebration!
December 29 – One Service at 10:30 AM
We will have only one service on December 29. Nursery and live streaming will be available. Cornerstone Kids and the Preschool/Kindergarten class will not meet.
Salvation Army Bellringers Needed
The Salvation Army has asked the Churches of Sheridan to cover 2 hour shifts on December 14th between 1 PM– 3PM & 3PM—5PM.
We are inviting each church and church member to go to registertoring.com and select I’m Ringing with a Group then enter PTL as the Group Code.
This will take you to a page where you can select a 2 hour shift. Check the shift you would like, then click the red Reserve Shift button which will take you to a page where you can login to your previous account or create a new account.
Year End Donations
Thank you for your participation in the ministry of Cornerstone Church! We continue to be amazed by God’s provision and your generosity. To help our office staff, we encourage end of the year donations to be submitted prior to the holidays.
Additionally, we are making great progress on paying down the loan we have for the newly constructed Children’s Ministry Wing and Fellowship Hall. We would love to knock that loan out as quickly as possible so we can keep our focus on the ministry opportunities God has given us. We will provide updated information in our Annual Business Report (TBA, likely in February).
